The highlight feature of our 200HR program is that you're able to complete it both In-Person AND Online!

We've had students join us online from all over Canada!

Our unique Blended Learning Program allows those participating online to also interact one-on-one with our instructors and in-person participants - creating connections far and wide, and a sense of community on this learning journey!

And since we're a Registered Yoga School, once you graduate, you are able to register as a Yoga Alliance Instructor!


Aside from an Amazing Learning Experience, you'll also benefit from:


  • Blended Learning: Our course allows you to complete this training from anywhere! You can attend in-person, online, or a mix of both! Distance learners can join us in a LIVE virtual classroom through zoom for weekly + weekend classes.

  • Flexible Payment Plans: From receiving an additional discount for paying tuition in-full, to working on a payment plan that works for you (*if you sign up to begin payments before the start of the program!) 

  • Multiple Credit Completion: Every class is recorded to allow everyone who might miss a class the chance to catch up. If you are unable to attend or tune-in to a class online, you are able to watch the class recordings and submit your notes to the instructor to receive credit for those hours.

  • Easy Review and Study: Even if you haven't missed a class, all class recordings are still available for you to review them and study.

  • Multiple options for Student Practicum: Your Practicum hours can be completed:

    • In our studio,

    • If distance students, in a studio local to your area,

    • Online - recording of you teaching to friends or family,

    • Through a one-on-one class with the instructor.

  • Unlimited Studio Membership: As a YTT student, you receive a unlimited membership until March 2020.

We provide you with the necessary skills to create an effective yoga class with an emphasis on both the physical and emotional safety of your students. It is important to us to nurture your unique gifts and passions. Our comprehensive curriculum is based on Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga to support you to embody the soul of Yoga as a teacher and in your life. 


This is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified program and the perfect program to enhance your life or start your career as an instructor.


Yoga Asana Techniques - 100+ hours


  • Understanding and teaching of:

    • Standing Postures

    • Seated Postures

    • Balance Postures

    • Prone & Supine Postures

    • Inversions

    • Twists​

  • Develop a daily personal sadhana practice.

  • Pranayama breathing exercises.

  • Mudra hand positions.

  • Teaching Language Yoga.

Yoga Methodology - 30 hours

Yoga Philosophy - 30 hours

You will study:

Yoga Anatomy and Physiology - 30 hours

    • The Anatomy of Movement

    • The Anatomy & Physiology of each yoga posture​​​

Student Practicum Experience - 10 hours

  • Students must teach 10 hours of yoga prior to graduation




We have online classrooms through Zoom or Facebook Live.

  • Weekly Posture Labs:

    • 2.5 hours for 36 weeks = 90 Hours

  • 9 Weekends @ 12hrs/weekend=108 hrs

  • Studio Classes = 1 hr/class

  • Karma Project = 10 Hours

  • Practice Teaching = 10 Hours

  • Independent Study = Up to 20 hours

Yoga Anatomy and Physiology - 30 hours

Student Practicum Experience - 10 hours

  • Students must teach 10 hours of yoga prior to graduation

*You only have to complete 200hrs of training.

You can combine hours from sections BUT you HAVE to complete:

  • 7 of 9 Weekends (84hrs)

  • 25 of 36 Posture Labs (approx. 60hrs)

  • 10 Practice Teaching Hours

  • 10 Karma Project Hours


Our weeknight classes are Posture Labs; we study approx. 70 postures.


We cover 2-3 postures each evening and we study them in-depth: English and Sanskrit names, Verbal Cues, Body, Mind, Spirit benefits, modifications, contraindications, anatomy of the pose, common misalignment.


We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings 

from 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Meet Your Instructor: Nancy!

Nancy Buckle, Studio Owner, Instructor, + Operator


Nancy Buckle is a passionate yogi, philanthropist, and community builder. She is inspired and driven to be a catalyst for change. Nancy has an MEd. in Counselling Psychology, is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT and Yoga Trainer with over 4,000 teaching hours to her credit (see below for a list of her education and experience). Nancy's passion for helping others, combined with her love for yoga, lead to the creation of Namaste Studios and several Yoga Teacher Training. Her enthusiasm, positive energy, and lively spirit are at the heart of everything she does - AND it's contagious!

Connie Absass

Guest Instructor

Connie is a therapeutic yoga teacher.


In 2007,she attended her first yoga class and was immediately hooked. She didn’t have the skill set or understanding at that time of what yoga really was - she just knew. Once she started practicing regularly, she discovered that yoga was not just asana but a path of self-realization and inner breakthroughs. Day by day, Connie became stronger, calmer, and braver.

Through a combination of holistic therapeutic techniques, she now help students and clients approach healing through yoga. What started as her own personal sadhana to ease stress and anxiety passionately turned into a commitment to help others live a more healthy and balanced life.

Connie's teaching is enhanced and strengthened by a Masters in Education, 200 hr YTT with Nancy Buckle at Namaste Studios, studies in Yoga Psyche Soul (300 hr) with Ashley Turner, Level 1 I-Rest training with Richard Miller, Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga with Jamie Hanley, and Yin Yoga with Kassandra Reighard.


Andrea Coombs

Guest Instructor


Andrea is a 200 hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) with Yoga Alliance. She lives in the woods outside of Corner Brook with her husband, Sean, and a menagerie of pets (2 cats, 2 dogs, and 10 chickens). She has an M.Sc. in Conservation Biology and is passionate about nature appreciation and connecting deeply to Mother Earth through yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Her life mission is to be a conduit for knowledge and wonder, and she is excited to share her love of yoga with her students. Forever a student of yoga, Andrea has pursued additional training in Yoga for Youth, Restorative and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Levels I & II, Prenatal Yoga, Hands-on Adjustments, Yin Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, and Buti Yoga. She is currently enrolled in Namaste Studio's 300 Hr Advanced YTT.
